Governance Framework

Board of Commissioners

At the top of the structure is the Board of Commissioners, responsible for strategic direction, oversight, and policy formulation. It ensures that SEC functions in alignment with national development goals and international best practices.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Reporting directly to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) oversees the daily operations of the Commission. The CEO leads the implementation of policies, regulatory supervision, and stakeholder engagement.

Leadership Commitment

SEC Zambia’s leadership team is dedicated to strengthening market infrastructure, building institutional capacity, and ensuring regulatory excellence. The organisational structure reflects the Commission’s strategic priorities of efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder responsiveness.
