NOTICE is hereby given to all Capital Market Operators (CMOS) that pursuant to the provisions of section 42 of the Securities Act No. 41 of 2016 as read with paragraph 10 (a) of the Third Schedule of the Securities (Licensing, Fees and Levies)(Amendment) Rules 2013, the 2020 annual fees for licensees, Issuers of securities, including Collective Investment Schemes shall be due by Tuesday 31st December 2019. Kindly note that CMOs who would have not paid their 2020 annual licence fees by 31st December 2019 will have their licences suspended starting 1st January 2020 and shall be prohibited from holding themselves out as Licensees. All CMOS’s are therefore reminded to ensure that annual fees are paid to the Commission not later than 31st December 2019 to avoid any inconvenience.
Please ensure that you provide the Commission with a detailed breakdown of the fees once payment is made.
